"Run as fast as you can to another AC company. Lindstrom was gutted of their former high quality service when they were bought by a private equity company last year. If you read only this - know this wrecked their 'family run' business into a profit only oriented company (who cares about the customer?!?). I scheduled Lindstrom to have a tech come do their $129 annual service appointment, which quickly turned into a HARD SELL for a new AC system even though mine is functioning I just wanted a piece of mind. No actual service was done. After the appointment, I tried calling for help at their office, after 4 times being told I'd get a call back and never got one I contacted my Credit Card company and they opened a dispute. A few days later, magically Lindstrom called me, apologized and offered a refund and the dispute was closed out. Great... then the H*** started. A month and a half later they sent me to collections for the unpaid, refunded, service that was not completed. Lovely. I tried calling them 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 times to get ahold of someone over a weeks time to sort it out. "We'll have a supervisor call you" never to get a call. After doing some searching online asking leadership names at the company I got someone to call. And once again, I got negotiated to pay for the service I didnt actually get... again. Fine, I paid the bill and they promised they'd sort out the collections and I could move past this insanity AGAIN. Nearly 2 months later ANOTHER collections notice, they never informed the company (per them) that the account was paid up. Another 5 calls to lindstrom, promised call backs, over a week no go. The collections agency finally stepped in, after a plea to them, magically Lindstrom calls me and closes it out. Needless to say, unless you're buying a new AC from them, they don't care about the customer, good luck getting ahold of anyone, and generally they are just terrible to deal with. Oh and as a customer just looking for service, be ready to get sold something you dont need. Finallly, please hope you don't land in a viscious h*** like I did going in circles with them, wasting 10-15 hours sorting out phone calls to close out a bill for a service not even rendered. Please, I wouldnt have written this if I didnt care about the next customer, please try a different company, they are not the same company as they were a year ago. They do not care about you as the customer."

Although solar panels are usually at roof level and manufactured to withstand the impact of small airborne debris, they still get damaged and or need maintenance work from time to time. Many manufacturers offer a 10 to 20-year warranty, while inverters themselves usually have a 10-year warranty. Panels should have a workmanship warranty of at least five years, and your general system should have a warranty of 25 years.
