"Hiring this company has been a huge regret. I hate writing bad reviews for companies but there is no way that we can say anything positive. Once you sign the contract, you are hosed. We hired them to do install a Louvered Pergola on our deck. We signed the contract on June 7, 2025 with their salesperson Bart, which said they were expired in installation these. Which were later were told by their electrician that he never did this before. This project was horror from the beginning. First they measured the area incorrectly and started to install the pergola in front of our windows. We had to point this out to them. They then had to lower our sunroom windows. Now here we in Feb 2026 the job is still not complete. I have reached out to them several times. We were not able to install a ceiling fan because of the incorrect measuring, and the pergola isn't functioning. Bad remote, incorrect electrical wiring??? Don't know. DO NOT HIRE THEM!"

"Mr. Minor (Melvin) came to our home and did an excellent job removing all of the grass from the area between our stone patio pavers, and then he proceeded to fill in those cracks with a sealant to prevent any further growth of grass & weeds in the patio area. He also applied a protective coating over the patio. He arrived on time and worked efficiently. The patio looks great now--better than new! We are definitely pleased with his work. "Linda Rominsky Bye BEFORE our Roof was replaced by City Light Construction.Their site manager came and put tarps where it was leaking. He also came and walked the roof with our adjuster. City Light took it from there. Put in their estimate, and it was approved by our USAA insurance. Within days the money for the roof was in our account. City Light took every care to lay tarps and collect the old roof, and cleared all debris. They even took large magnets to scan for dropped nails. They sat and explained the materials they use, which are of the finest quality. The work was done in one day, over the house, and most of our shed. By noon the second day the crew had completed the install. They even painted the furnace stack on the roof black to match the roof. We were impressed with their attention to detail, and everything was done to county construction standards. We are thrilled with our new roof and City Light Construction. We plan to use them for sealing our stamped concrete patio."

My handicapped mother and I split the cost of privacy trees for our new house. Over $6500 in total and all we have asked Steve to come back and fix the ones that have blown over. We paid an extra amount for him to come out and put stakes in the ground after they were initially installed, but they didn't seem to hold up. When he left that day he said "If you or your mom need anything, please call me". He seemed sincere, so Ididn't worry. Well we since have called and texted many times as the trees are sideways as you can see from the pictures. The only response I got was "Ok" one time and never heard from him or BRLS again. We got this referral from a local person and thought based on the google reviews, we should be good to go."

Concrete or brick paver installation costs $8 to $25 per square foot. You'll get individually placed bricks that can add variety and color. Materials and labor are both higher than a simple concrete slab but comparable to an intricate stamped and stained design. Make sure you discuss specifics with your patio contractor before the project begins so you can budget accordingly.
Building a concrete patio takes between two to four days from start to finish. This timeframe includes site preparation, forming, pouring, and curing the concrete. The exact duration depends on factors such as the complexity of your design, the patio size, weather conditions, and the availability of materials and labor. Projects with intricate designs or additional features will take longer to complete.
A well-maintained concrete patio can last 30 to 50 years. And often longer with something as simple as a resurfacing. Resurfacing concrete costs $4 per square foot on average. Like most other structures, the amount of care and maintenance you put into your patio will increase its longevity and help you enjoy it for years to come.
Extending your existing patio costs the same as any new patio, or $6 to $16 per square foot on average. For example, if you want to add 50 square feet to your existing patio, expect to pay somewhere between $300 to $800 (at minimum) for that extension. If you add any higher-end or specialty features, your costs will exceed this range.
