Chimney technician, master mason. OSHA certified.
"Saul is a consummate professional, incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and hardworking. He thoroughly inspected my fireplace, the crawlspace where my boiler/furnace are, and the chimney from the roof. In explaining the job to me, he also provided some tips for a more efficient use of my fireplace. He gave me an extremely good quote on a substantial chimney rebuild, and came to do the work the next day. Over two days, Saul worked tirelessly to rebuild the chimney, and left the area immaculate afterwards. He is coming back in a few days to install a new cap and to clean my fireplace and and oil flue as part of the job. I had two roofing companies out to my house the next day and both raved about how good my chimney looked. I recommend Chimney Safe 100% and look forward to working with them again should the need arise."

"Oscar was great. He showed up on time and quickly committed to a date to fix my front steps. He completed the work in a professional and neat manner. He was responsive to my request to come back and cover some exposed brick (my preference). He showed up the next day and completed the extra work without charge. I then hired him to fix my chimney. This required indoor and outdoor work. In addition to completing the work, he was very careful about dust and debris. Two weeks later, the job is complete and I am looking forward to have fires once again in my fireplace. He is a true professional and I I would highly recommend him to others."

"They cleaned my chimney and then fixed liner & cap so wood stove could be used without issue. What I thought would take a couple weeks all together between cleaning, ordering parts and then installation-actually only took a couple days. Their work was fast & clean, I would highly recommend them to all."

"They were spot on time, very professional, worked quickly, and I thought the price was reasonable since my s/s chimney cap had to be special ordered due to its large size. I'd hire them again."

When you hire a housekeeper or cleaning service, there are some questions you’ll need to ask to ensure you’re hiring the right person for the job. Writing down a list of services you want to be completed is a great place to start. This way, you’ll have all the information you need when you do interview a housekeeper or cleaning service, and they can provide you with accurate information and cost estimates.
Find out upfront if the housekeeper or cleaning company offers the services you need, especially if you have requests that go beyond basic services.
Do they charge a flat fee each week? Do they charge an hourly rate? Some companies charge based on your home’s square footage or the number of bedrooms you have.
Many companies may provide some smaller cleaning supplies, but they may need to use your vacuum cleaner or mop. Others bring their own or none at all. And if you’re particular about the types of chemicals used in your home, you may want to ask what products they use or if they’re willing to use what you provide.
Anytime you have a professional in your home, something could go wrong. They could get hurt, or some of your property may be damaged. Ask what would happen in these scenarios — a well-qualified professional will have the necessary insurance and bonding to cover these situations.
