"Iâ ve known Nick, the owner, on a personal level for a number of years, before his launched his carpentry business. He has tremendous integrity, is honest, and fair. I reached out to him to build a a custom bookshelf for my office, because there was nothing available that met my requirements as an internet order. I hired him because I trust him. Nick has a creative interior designer that came out to my house to assess where it would be installed and to review/discuss the optimal design. She sketched it out, took the measurements and then sent me a virtual picture of it in my office before it was built. That was a real plus. The quality of Nickâ s craftmanship, combined with his attention to detail, the on-going status updates on where the project stood along the way (with pictures), and a very fair price add up to a 5 star rating across the board. - quality, customer service, and value for the money. I look forward to working with Nick and his team on another project down the road."

Flooring
"Jarius and his installer Carlos did an absolute phenomenal job in our house. We had old original carpeting that was ripped out and replaced with new luxury vinyl flooring. I was worried it would have that hollow ?pop? sound as you walk on it but Jarius knows his stuff! He assured us we would be in love and we are. They were timely, considerate, and the install of 460sq ft of flooring took a few hours start to finish! Might have been a few too many cups of coffee we gave Carlos- but I think it?s just professionalism and skill! 16 out of 10 to Jarius and his guys. Pretty tough to find quality of product- quality of install- and reasonable price but Jarius checks all the boxes. I won?t hire anyone else to do flooring and I?ll refer him to everyone I know. Thanks guys!"

"We hired J.A. Clairmont & Sons Remodeling Company, LLC after months of effort in trying to hire a contractor to remodel our kitchen. This company delivers per their commitment. Their work is flawless. We particularly appreciate how this company managed the Project activities and delivered well within time and budget without compromising quality. It has been a most pleasant and stress free experience working with them throughout our Kitchen remodel project. We highly recommend them."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
