So after he explained the difference between dry cleaning and steaming my carpets, I let him steam clean the apartment. I was leaving and dry clean the apartment I was moving into. The difference was like holding a rock in one hand and a diamond in the other! The air in my new apartment seemed lighter and cleaner. The carpeting felt cleaner under foot, and I had no trouble with dust mites irritating my asthma condition. Dry cleaning may cost a little bit more but it’s well worth it. I no longer worry about possible mildew in my carpet padding due to an extractor not removing all of the cleaning solution during steam cleaning."
