"Matt is crew were incredible to work with from the very start. He returned my call promptly and came out and gave us an extensive bid that was not only extremely reasonable but very thorough as well. We had some hiccups with the timing of our project, but Matt was extremely patient and flexible And work things out on our timetable. He came out to the property and walked in in detail with my wife, and I so that we could really understand the scope of his work and he could understand what we wanted. I love that he was very realistic when we asked for his advice, and instead of suggesting a lot of things that could cost us a lot of money you found ways to actually save us money and still make the project looked great. He kept me informed throughout the entire process and on the days that he painted he sent me regular pictures as updates so that I could see the progress of his crew. They were extremely efficient and clean and I absolutely loved working with them. I would recommend them to anybody looking for a painting project they were great to work with."

Painters usually price a job by the square feet of the project. Sometimes they’ll include flat fees for fixed expenses, like overhead and permits.

Interior painting makes for a doable DIY project. You can save some money and get a real sense of accomplishment by doing this yourself. And, with the right prep work – covering, taping and scraping – it’s fairly forgiving. But it takes a lot of time to move furniture, tape trim, prep the surface and cover your floor, let alone apply the actual paint. Instead, save yourself the time and hassle and find a local interior painter.
Leave exterior painting to the pros. Not only do you need to worry about the type and quality of the paint, you’ll also likely need a ladder and considerably more prep work. You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.
