He's exceptionally knowledgeable in his field and is nice enough to share tips and tricks that will help you. He refinished my hardwood floor in my whole home and installed the base board. With both projects he exceeded my expectations. He doesn't over charge and he does great work. Both him and his partner are some of the nicest individuals I've met. I told him I got lucky to have found him and his company because I don't think I would have found such great work at a great price. I will be having him come back to do my wood cabinets and anything I might need. Don't think twice let AK hardwood do your floors and you won't be disappointed."

"James did an excellent job. We purchased a home in Torrance that was built in 1954, the hardwood floors are the original floor - red oak. They were in terrible condition, there were cut marks from someone removing carpeting prior, water stains, and termite damage. Jame said he could refinish them and he had great feedback so we went with him. James exceeded our expectations - the floor looks beautiful, there is no sign of the deep cut marks or water damage and the termite damaged floorboards have been replaced and match. Jame does great work, gave an accurate estimate, was professional, works hard - even over the weekend! and finished on time"
