John answered the phone when I called and was here the next day, The price he gave was reasonable so I gave him a deposit Thursday and they were here Monday morning to do the work, This is a family company and with their attention to service and clearly communicating with me the customer I would highly recommend them to anyone. In fact next week they are sealing my next door neighbors driveway. My other next door neighbor as well as a neighbor a few doors down are looking at full replacements for their old broken up macadam driveways. One wants to wait until spring and the other is ready to give a deposit, I have managed several properties and buildings and dealt with many different contractors. Waited until 9 am, and no sign of them even beginning to work in the complex, where they also had other appointments. I called to ask if they were still coming, and no answer. Did not call to say they would be over an hour late, no apology, no advisement of how much longer it would be. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, the owner made a derogatory comment. I had plans and needed to get on the road shortly after 9. They showed up at 9:20 and began doing work elsewhere first. I had to cancel the service, and it ruined my entire weekend plans. I would not trust these guys to tie my shoes."
