He inspected and cleaned the chimney well, and also noticed breaks in the fireplace/chimney that would possibly lead to severe damage if they weren't repaired before use -- even going so far as to recommend how I could fix it myself, or offering to do it separately if I wanted someone else to. He was skilled, polite, and cared about doing a good/thorough job even beyond the description of what he came to do. "We are totally happy with our experience with the Brick Doctor. Our 60 year old house had front and back steps that had lost quite a bit of mortar. The front porch, made of broken tile with a brick border , needed the entire border of mortar replaced, and some cracks repaired. Kenny is a true craftsman and a hard worker. He was easy to deal with and we worked together to schedule the repairs. He is a skilled professional, and it was obvious that he takes pride in his work and gives attention to detail. Throughout the process he consulted with us to mke sure we understood what he was going to do. All of the repairs were made, including replacing some broken bricks. "The brick foundation had settled at a corner of my house causing mortar to break and a few bricks were broken.  The crack was about 3/4 inch wide.  Five holes were dug about 2 feet deep and jacks were installed to jack the brick siding back  in place.  Once the brick siding was in place cement was injected to hold the brick in place.  The broken bricks were replaced. The lintel over the garage door, door and window were replaced.  The mortar that was damaged on the house was removed and re-pointed.  The Hipp Masonry crew were polite.  They did excellent work.  The crew cleaned up at the end of each day and after the job was completed.

"They were on time, professional and fast! The clean/inspect cost was $69.00. When they went up on roof they found that my handyman had put tar on crown (fire hazard) and mortar joints were missing causing damage inside the firebox. They took pictures to show me. We made an appointment for the next day, they were done in about a half hour. I could see the difference from the ground. VERY impressed. The cost was $550.00, but I got a 20% discount, so the cost was $440.00. Good Job Precision.
