"Our experience with Bulldog did not meet expectations. We signed an agreement and gave them our first insurance payment, only to not have any progress made/work done for two months (despite repeated follow ups) until we escalated to their office. Once work finally began, they framed one door incorrectly, corrected it, and then did the second door incorrectly as well. Despite high winds in the forecast, they did not secure the siding materials, causing us to have to chase full sheets of siding through the neighborhood so that it wouldn’t damage our neighbors’ cars. They damaged our fiber internet line, causing us to have to have it replaced by AT&T. They did not measure correctly and did not order enough siding (despite us asking about this on the second day) - They didn’t order more until the following week, and our house was left unfinished for another three weeks."

"I was VERY disappointed by my experience with DJK Environmental. They had come to me as a recommendation from a realtor, so I thought they’d be good. We paid money to have the asbestos test expedited, which took longer than the timeline DJK gave me and they didn’t even call me when the results were in. They also made a few errors on the quote to remove the asbestos, and again didn’t seem to care about the timeline they had given me or earning the business from us. I had to track them down any time I wanted information . They did not keep me informed about anything which was awful considering the timeline we are on to move into our house. When I got quotes from a couple other companies for the same service, I learned that DJK are price gougers as they were going to charge me 40% more than the other bids. I notified my realtor about the horrible communication, awful pricing & negative experience with DJK to ensure they don’t get business from any of her clients ever again. Stay away from DJK"

"I called Elite Exteriors to replace a pool deck with composite lumber (expensive) so I was a bit anxious to contract with an unknown company. I read the reviews and they were stellar, so I got an estimate and ultimately went with them. The project managers and builders were professional, friendly, and very customer oriented. I ask a lot of questions but never felt patronized or sensed any annoyance about it. The builders were neat, on time every day, often called in advance to tell me their arrival time, and best of all built a beautiful, solid deck. I recommend them to anyone with a deck project and I wouldn’t hesitate to have them provide any of the other services they offer based upon my experience with their company. "This is the second major home improvement project I have had done with Sunset Ridge Exteriors. Original work was window replacement, which was done professionally and timely. After the experience I had with another window/door contractor, Sunset Ridge was a breath of fresh air. I was impressed enough to call no other contractors when i needed my Siding and Roofing redone. Roofing was a necessity, Siding just needed to be done to match the timing. I chose a high quality Black shingle and a High quality insulated vinyl siding in blue. The prices were a bit higher, but they came with lifetime warranties, which made it worth the tag for me. The installation of the roof took one day. I have a smaller house, but regardless of that fact, they replaced actual boards in the roof that were too worn to keep, and fully shingled the roof in less than a business day. They were flying. The siding took longer as you would expect, but was done with such a professional level of attention to detail (framing hose bibs, color matched caulk, framing power boxes), I have been floored each time I walk around the house. They worked with me to coordinate a smooth installation, alongside my solar panel contractor, so the gutters wouldn't go on until the solar panels were up, avoiding damage or superficial marks. Everyone listens, provides options, and communicates well when something needs to be changed/moved from the original plan. Mike is my kind of salesman, Matt is a wizard, the crews that changed my house were masters of their craft, and of course, Fran is an absolute delight each time you get her on the phone. All of their support staff are great, but Fran takes the cake. She's a hoot. I'll be seeing these folks again next year when I replace my door. No one else will even get a call."

"Not well and I would not recommend them or hire them again. I decided to go with Midwest Exteriors out of Brookfield, WI. In addition to providing a roof, I also ordered windows to replace the original 1928 windows in the home. They did state up front that it might take a while for the windows as custom windows are having supply issues. Fine. In October, I came home to roofing supplies in my front yard. A quick called confirmed they would be here the next day to install the roof. Prior to agreeing to this, I had expressed concern that I need ALL of the waste materials, especially the nails, be completely cleaned up as I have multiple dogs. I was assured they are known for their thorough clean up after a project. The project ended up taking two days, which would have been fine but no one on the team said anything to me; a call to the owner of the company promised follow-up. Indeed, they were coming back the next day. They did a very poor clean-up as I found pieces of shingles and many nails in the backyard, driveway, and in my front bushes. Again, I called the owner, James, who said he would talk to the team and it would be remedied as they are known for their thorough clean up. Even after the second day, the clean up was mediocre at best. Again, I complained. In January, I was snow blowing my driveway and discovered a HUGE icicle hanging from my downspout- the roofers had knocked it loose and not replaced it. Also in January, I got a call that my windows were in and we set an install of February 1st and 2nd. When they set up the first window, it was missing woodwork that I had requested being included as it was on the original windows. The installers assured me it was an easy fix so the project continued; had I known they COULDN'T fix the windows, I would have stopped the install and had them replace the original windows. They also stated they would come back and fix the downspout. Now it's May, they can't/won't fix the windows as I requested and they haven't fixed the downspout. As such, I am holding the final $10,000 payment until they at least fix the downspout (which they promised to do nearly 6 months ago)."
