"After a year I came across their booth at a home show. They gave me the show's discounts that included a wind sensor and lights. I had admired another awning in my neighborhood and the owner said all great things about Marygrove even after I had done all my own research on other companies. Their salesman and workers were all very prompt and efficient."

"We loved working with Nate. The whole process was so much more enjoyable and stress free compared to our previous experience working with other builders. He truly listens to what is important to you, sticks to the budget, and stays on top of things. Nate did a great job communicating regularly and was transparent throughout the whole process. This was a big change from previous builders we worked with. His subcontractors were all great - friendly, polite, and hard working. The house is exactly what we hoped for. We have been so impressed and are so grateful we went with him."

"Listened to all of my requests and completed them all in a timely manner. Work was exceptional. I am getting ready to sell my house and we went room to room and went over each project that needed to be completed. Helped remove my old countertop, measured and helped install my new granite countertop. Repaired my wooden fence and replaced my wooden gate. Power washed my deck and house. Worked on the exterior of my house - fixed j-channel, chimney, fixed and painted the porch pillar and so many other items. Money well spent. Thank you Andrew!! Job well done!!"

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
