"Mike made the bathroom remodel so easy and efficient, the whole process... from the estimate to the completion. He listened to what my needs were, style and how I wanted to the project to go. I was dreading the whole process but was glad to find a reliable contractor and will be recommending him to anyone who needs work done at their home!"

"Juan is very friendly, professional, responsive and punctual. They covered everything and made sure there was a minimum of fumes (using a giant fan going out the window). When they finished everything was absolutely spotless. He offers a 2-year guarantee on the bathtub coating. The tub looks spectacular!"

"I can't say enough about Keith from Rockledge Remodeling. Keith came out on a Sunday night, fully prepared and we put our heads together to build the most exquisite deck and fence around the pool. He is extremely knowledgeable and really listened to exactly what I wanted. The crews he sent out were so very professional and very nice people. The most impressive part for me was when because of rainy weather he thought we were going to fall behind, he came himself and worked side by side with the workers. I would strongly recommend Keith and his company and I will continue to use him for more projects. I am very, very happy with the entire experience..."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
