"We are extremely satisfied with our generator purchase. We interviewed several different companies and Alternative Home Energy and Maintenance was the only firm that understood our needs. They did a thorough review of our electrical and gas configuration on the initial sales call, which none of the other companies did. We were provided a detailed, line item quote. The entire team - Tasha Thompson, Jarrod Watson, Robb Taylor, Zack Martin, and James Sanders (plus a couple of other individuals whose names I don't have) were top notch. Tasha did an outstanding job in keeping us informed every step of the way. Robb did a thorough walkthrough and was a no-pressure sales rep, James and Zack did an outstanding job on the installation. I can be pretty high maintenance on jobs like this and Tasha was incredibly responsive to my texts and emails. I can't recommend this firm highly enough. A lot of folks will sell you product, but this team delivers value and customer service at a very competitive rate. Great job, team!"

"I am so glad that we found David and Quad2Electric! We purchased a home knowing that it would need some electrical work and Quad2 was recommended to me by a friend who had a good experience with them on their project. David, the owner, came over and inspected our entire electrical system, everything from the outlets outside to the wiring in the attic. He gave us a report with all of the issues he found and told us which items were serious safety concerns and which items were safe but could use some attention. There was no pressure to fix every single item immediately and no scare tactics trying to tell me that the house would burn down tomorrow. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the time that they took to sit down with us and explain everything that they found in simple terms, why it was a problem, and what they needed to do to make it safe - it was very refreshing to have such a positive experience with a contractor. They ended up repairing lots of incorrectly done wiring in the attic and addressed some issues with the panel and outlets/switches that flickered and worked intermittently. We were so happy with the quality of work they did on the repairs that we had them replace all of the outlets outside with waterproof outlet boxes and add new light switches and dimmer/fan controls to the bedrooms. Since that initial visit we have had them back out more than once do additional projects such as adding extra outlets around the room in our bonus room so we don’t have power cords running across the floor, adding new LED lights in several rooms and adding outlets/cable runs to the wall and mounting our flat screen TV where you can’t see any wires at all. In case it’s not yet obvious, we absolutely love this company and they will be the only electricians that ever work on our home. We already have plans for them to come out soon and add a whole home generator to our house as well as add some additional lighting outside. Since I first met David I have referred him to atleast 10 of my friends and colleagues and every time the person tells me how great of a job they did and how easy it was dealing with David and his company. Do yourself a favor and stop messing around with handymen who don’t understand what they’re doing and call a true professional like this company to fix your electrical issue correctly the first time. 100% recommend Quad 2 Electric!"

"I was a customer of American Home Shield warranty company from 2019 to 2022. In 2021, I began experiencing issues with my heater. A contractor affiliated with American Home Shield came out to assess the problem and determined it was electrical in nature. American Home Shield then dispatched Moen Electric to address the issue. At that time, I believed the problem had been resolved. Since I reside in Texas, where it rarely gets very cold, I seldom use my heater. I typically rely on a desk heater in the rooms I occupy and keep the central heater set to 65 degrees during the winter. In December 2023, I began receiving services from Choice Home Warranty. At the end of December 2024, I noticed that my heater was not turning on. Consequently, I contacted Choice Home Warranty to schedule an inspection. The following is the assessment provided by the technician on January 6, 2025: 01/06/2025: THE HEAT KIT HAS BEEN EXTREMELY MODIFIED FROM ITS FACTORY STATE. ALL WIRING FOR THE THIRD HEAT STRIP HAD BEEN DISCONNECTED FROM THE 25A BREAKER AND LEFT EXPOSED INSIDE THE UNIT. ON THE LOAD SIDE OF THE 60A BREAKER HEAVY GAUGE WIRE WAS PUT IN AND CONNECTED TO THE CONTACTOR. FOR THE FIRST TWO HEAT STRIPS AND THE HEAT STRIPS WIRED TO ALL COME ON WITH POWER FROM THE SINGLE 60A BREAKER. THE CONTACTOR IS FRIED ALONG WITH THE CABLES CONNECTED TO IT AND THERE IS EVIDENCE OF BURNING INSIDE THE CABINET. IMPROPER INSTALLATION. HEAT KIT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED WITH CORRECT HEAT KIT AND CONTACTOR AS WELL. I KILLED ALL POWER TO SYSTEM. Following this alarming report, I contacted American Home Shield and was advised to reach out to Moen Electric directly. When I spoke with Moen Electric, they flatly refused to fix the issue, claiming they could not verify whether anyone else had made repairs after their work. I assured them this was not the case, as no one else had worked on the unit, but they remained uncooperative and rude. I am certain that no one has tampered with the system since Moen Electric's initial repair. Given the severity of the safety hazard they created and their lack of accountability, I strongly advise others against using this company. Their disregard for customer safety and failure to take responsibility is appalling. This is not the end of this matter. I intend to pursue further actions to address this dangerous negligence."
