"The owner does not know his limitations. He poured a new pool deck and did a colored sand finish. However, he did not get a uniform sand finish before the concrete set hard so we are left with pot marks, milky areas, color inconsistencies, and expansion cuts made randomly in the concrete, some even made diagonally - not squared up. After three days using pressure washers and power brooms the owner packed up and said I did the best I could not and offered me a discount. I am left with a pool deck that looks like the three stooges did the pour. I should pull out the concrete and have it repoured. Beware when doing business with this firm - better yet hire an experienced contractor!"

"Groundworks were contracted to encapsulate the crawl space, with a dehumidifier, intellijacks & sump pump. The inspector showed us pictures & videos of what the work would look like on completion, & explained how each solution would be installed. They tried to charge me more for vent covers until I showed them the contract covering this part. The foreman told me there was a reset button for the sump pump to be installed on an exterior wall, but they did not install it, instead said they would put in a service order. I haven’t heard anything about this issue yet. When they installed the moister barrier, they excluded the cement pads I was told it cost extra to have them covered. When I signed the contract, I was never told there would be extra charges for vent covers or cement pads to be covered. The contract I signed covered a complete encapsulation, but this is not what I got. This is a bait & switch. I would not recommend Groundworks."

"Joe and his team did an incredible job! I can’t believe how great our backyard looks and how functional it is. In less than 1.5 days, Joe’s team removed rocks and other debris, extended our garden beds, planted 14 arborvitae trees, some lilac bushes, and a flowering dogwood tree. They set up our raised gardening area, laid a weed barrier, grass barrier and bark so it is beautiful and functional. They also removed a small pool and pavers and replaced with sod. They also laid a drip line that is easily controlled by our existing sprinkler system. Joe was super easy to work with and very accommodating. He understood my vision and had great suggestions for design. Would definitely work with Joe again!"
