"Met with representative, but he never sent a quote and never called after the meeting. He asked me to do a sketch instead of writing down what I was asking for which was very odd. I said would not have time to create a sketch for him, but we walked through the project in the yard so he could have done an estimate, but instead he dropped the ball. Waste of time."

"December 25, 2022 the pipe in my master bathroom busted. My insurance agent recommended Easley. The owner Wayne took a few days to get back to me. He made sure I signed a contract to only allow his company to do the work but explained absolutely nothing else. After a week he finally got plumbers there to fix the pipe but they couldn't do their job because my cabinets were in the way. So a few days later some men came and removed the cabinets and put them on my front porch. The plumbers fixed the original leak and when they turned the water back on discovered another leak in the kitchen sink. They tore out the back of the cabinet and the wall and the bottom of the cabinet to fix it. Wayne was told about this and told that the kitchen cabinet needed to be added to the list of things to fix. After I paid the plumbers I did not hear from Wayne for months. My insurance claims adjusters came to my house and wrote up a report. in the report they mentioned trying to contact Wayne to see how much it would cost to fix the under sink area but no one called them back. In March or April 2023 Wayne finally called and got the estimate from my insurance. He said their numbers were all wrong and he was going to have to redo it and submit it. At the beginning of June 2023 after not hearing from Wayne I called my insurance agent to find out why nothing had been done yet. Wayne told them he had been so busy he hadn't gotten around to do anything with my work. I was told he was going to submit the new estimate. In mid August after contacting and not hearing from Wayne I called my insurance agent again to find out what was going on. Apparently Wayne had submitted the estimate incorrectly and did not follow up. So he resubmitted a few weeks later. At the beginning of October after contacting and not hearing from Wayne I called my insurance agent again to find out what was going on. Absolutely nothing was happening. Then Wayne has a floor guy come out and take measurements to get a bid on replacing the floors damaged by the busted pipe. He also has a company that packs up your stuff and takes it to a storage unit to come and give an estimate. It was during this time I told Wayne to take the bathroom cabinets that had sat on my front porch since December 2022 away because I wanted new countertops and a new sink. The cabinet guy got in touch with me around the middle of December. I covid at that time and could not meet with him. When I recuperated, I met with him in early Jan 2024. Once the cabinets were ordered I contact Wayne wanted to know when my drywall would be fixed. He took several days to get back with me. In early Feb 2024 my drywall was finally repaired. Wayne never added my kitchen cabinet that was damaged in December 2022 to the insurance estimate so I still have a damaged cabinet. Wayne has not communicated with me at all during this process that has taken well over a year. I have never experienced any business that has treated me like a forgotten customer. If I could all of this over again I would never have signed that contract with Wayne the owner of this business. My satisfaction was clearly never his goal. I believe he forgot about me and the work that needed to be done at my house. What makes it even worse is that he in now trying to place the blame for all of this at my doorstep when he was the one who never did his job. If I could give this company and negative 10 stars I would. Buyer Beware!!!"

You should clean your deck before sealing it. Cleaning before refinishing is critical. If you don’t remove dirt and debris, you'll trap moisture in the wood, which prevents the new sealer from working correctly and can lead to costly repairs. Whether you need to sand, power wash, or sandblast depends on your deck's condition.
Sealing and staining your deck are essential maintenance methods that protect and beautify your outdoor space. Stain adds rich color and guards against fading, while sealant fortifies the wood against moisture and weather damage. Wood type, climate, deck age, and the degree of existing damage determine whether your deck benefits from one or both treatments. Using both options extends your deck’s durability and enhances its overall appearance.
Power washing and sealing your deck costs $500 to $1,700. This process combines the removal of stubborn dirt and debris with a protective seal that preserves the wood’s integrity. Effective cleaning eliminates harmful buildup, and a proper seal prevents moisture damage and wood decay, ensuring long-term durability and reducing future repair expenses.
Your deck must be sealed every one to three years to maintain its strength and appearance. Regular sealing is essential to protect the wood against moisture, mold, and harmful UV rays. A consistent sealing schedule prevents rapid deterioration and costly repairs. Inspections should be performed annually to determine if the protective layer remains intact, extending the life of your deck.
Leaving your deck untreated compromises its structural integrity and safety. An unprotected deck rots quickly due to moisture and environmental exposure, which means that neglecting sealing results in rapid decay and expensive replacement costs of $4,125 to $11,650. Sealing your deck is essential for maintaining its durability and protecting your home.
The sealant on your deck dries within a few hours and reaches full cure within 72 hours before regular use. It is essential to wait until the complete curing period to ensure the protective layer fully sets and resists weather and foot traffic. Proper drying guarantees that your deck is fully protected against moisture and environmental damage, ensuring lasting quality.
