"Mike and Jim are phenomenal people. I was given great information, prices and service. They care about their customers and it shows in their work. Both of them stayed late into the night to get my power on, so I didnâ t suffer all night long. They are my go to electrician now. If you want a great electrician, call them!"

"Arrival was prompt and on time as promised. The tech was friendly and professional. He knew exactly what I wanted and got straight to work. The new vanity lights were installed, switches changed out and a Ring doorbell installed. Finished quicker than I expected. Good cost too."

"Mike came out when he said he would and was on time. My wife and I discussed our project and what we were wanting. Mike did an excellent job explaining what we needed and how to complete our project. My wife loves her hot showers and unfortunately our small and older water heater wasn't giving her the satisfaction she deserves. Now she has endless hot water and our water bill is gonna suffer. All in all Mike did an amazing job explaining our situation and the different types of solutions. We chose a tankless water heater and we have no regrets."

"We shopped around a lot. Stellar came in strong for price and felt really confident with their consultation and project management. No project goes perfectly- wish I'd had them onsite during shower glass measurement and countertop installation- I should have requested-nothing major but small mistake may have been avoided. nice to have same crew throughout the project. Trusted them and we went out of town with no worries about our home. Worked with the Home Depot designer they recommended and she was great too. Wish I had consulted her for paint too- our schedules didn't align at the end- advice to plan it ALL on the front end. Would certainly recommend Steller and would use them again."

"They were so incredibly kind and helpful and we were impressed with their expertise and ability to problem-solve! The job we presented them with was NOT an easy one, and Kevin got creative in order to remove some old plumbing fixtures in order to connect our new washer and stack the dryer. Theyve continued to help us problem solve the electrical connection and even agreed to come back to assist us with changing the power cord and dryer vent routing! To top it all off, they were nice to our dogs! We highly recommend them and feel lucky to have found this resource."

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
