"Joel and his team are phenomenal! We replaced tile, linoleum and carpet with hardwood floors. We had the hardwood floors installed in our foyer, kitchen, family room, half bath, pantry, and one closet, and we had PVT installed in the laundry room and closet in the laundry room. First, Joel is very professional and pleasant to work with. He came to measure and was very detail-oriented and made a sketch. He explained everything and his quote was very reasonable (we had several quotes from others to compare). I instantly felt comfortable working with him and he was SUPER responsive via text or phone any time I had a question. Also, he told us to choose the wood we wanted and he would try to get it cheaper. In the end, he couldn't, but he was very honest about it and didn't try to pressure us to choose one of his. So, we bought the wood from a retailer and he installed it. He was able to find a good PVT that was less expensive than the one we chose for the laundry room that he purchased on our behalf. Joel did not personally install our hardwood floors but did stain the kick plates and stair nose, which were perfect matches to our kitchen cabinets and wood trim throughout the areas.. His wood installation team that he works with are great! They were super fast (demo was done in 4 hours) and did a great job with everything from removing the toilet, lifting the fridge, putting wood under the dishwasher, etc. The team had 10+ years experience. They took great care of our things and left the place clean. Not to promise your job will be done as quickly, but our job was done in two days, which exceeded our expectations. We will hire Joel and his team again in a heartbeat! We are having them install carpet in a month or two. Different installation team, but with Joel being the person who chooses the team, I'm sure they'll be great!"

"I hired Brian to replace old carpeting, to add interior doors to create a den/a guest bedroom out of an unused dining room, and to re-do the nightmarish traffic jam created in a high-traffic area by 3 doors all opening into each other. The project grew, as these things go, and Brian also re-did the floor in the laundry room, removed a soffit that kept us from stacking washer and dryer, and repaired deck stairs. Brian did a terrific job on all these projects! I can't wait to bring him back to work on another area of the house. From the start, contacting Brian and making an initial appointment was very easy. He responded to texts and was available to meet on a fairly short notice, and on a weekend. He gave us initial estimate on the spot, on Saturday, and started the work on Monday. I was very happy that he was able to squeeze us into his schedule, so floors can be redone quickly and at a time that was convenient for us. Brian was the one who recommended we look at vinyl plank floor instead of carpeting or laminate. I never even heard of such a product until Brian mentioned it. It looks like wood, but unlike wood, it does not scratch and is completely waterproof. It worked perfectly for our needs to have pet- and kid-resistant waterproof floor. A week after install, our washer dumped water on the newly-installed floor in the laundry room. Thanks to Brian's recommendation and install, the new vinyl plank floor held all the water upstairs until we mopped it up. The home office directly underneath didn't have a drop of water on the ceiling and all the documents stayed safe and dry. Brian and his son Toby showed up on time, every day, and worked hard. I felt I could trust them to work on the house even when I was not there. The did a lovely job and the finished product looks really good, from floors to doors to deck steps. Brian went beyond the call of duty on the project and re-did the wobbly steps inside the garage, too. I am looking forward to working with them on more projects!"

"I cannot even begin to express my appreciation to Keith and Dan for the beautiful bathroom floor. A handyman I had hired to do various jobs around the home had attempted to do the floor. The tiles were loose, you could hear the grout crunching when you walked on it, no spacers were used so grout lines were uneven...it was a mess! When Keith and Dan tore out the floor, they found a soaking wet subfloor because the toilet had not been properly reset. In less than 48 hours I had a brand new floor with a concrete underlayment, and a new water line and valve to the toilet which now does not leak. They used soft furniture blankets to protect my hardwood floors and didn t leave a trace of dirt or debris. Also they were personable and friendly with my dog. And I felt that the price for all of this excellence was very reasonable. I cannot speak highly enough of Cavote s Flooring Expressions and would hire them again in a heartbeat."
