"They showed up for the installation on time, carefully unloaded the new unit without mishap, and moved it to the installation site on the side of the house. They then proceeded to dismantle the 18-year old unit and start the installation. They worked efficiently and carefully, getting the new unit ready. After checking all connections, they started up the new unit, and we had a new, energy efficient A/C unit! Thanks for being caring, friendly, and professional with the whole process!"

"Our furnace install was done professionally. The installers were great. I do not blame any of our problems on the installers. It is their corporate office and lack of concern for issues a customer has that will affect any future customers. They simply do not care. The day after our furnace install we received a text that stated "Anderson Heating, Cooling and Plumbing, and sister company A New Image Heating and Cooling are offering a FLASH BOGO! Valid this week! The Furnace is FREE when you install an AC! Call today for details.". I called immediately because we had expressed an interest in both heat and AC. I asked why we were not offered this BOGO when they knew we were interested in both and the sale was good for the week of our installation. We would have taken this deal and gotten both. I was told by the Mentor office that they were unaware that the sale text was going out and asked if I could give them a few days. The following Monday I did receive a call back and was told they would install our AC for $4,000. The original estimate was about $6,000. So they were offering to take $2,000 off to install the AC. My furnace was $5,695. Is this a deceptive advertising ploy to get another $4,000 out of us? I disagreed with this offer and was given a contact at their home office in Grand Rapids MI. I sent the info to Geoffery Kartes who is their Director of Digital Marketing in MI. That was four weeks ago and I have heard NOTHING from anyone. I even called Mr. Kartes and still did not get a call back. This is apparently a "pass the blame" situation where no one is willing to take responsibility. Associates in the Mentor office agreed with me, one of their associates even encouraged me to escalate my displeasure because he said this has happened before, yet nothing has been done. Maybe if they ignore me I will go away. I will not. I wanted to let potential future customers know this happened. I am also letting the BBB and the Ohio AG know. The technician was suppose to check the AC unit assess the situation, identify the issue and make a recommendation based on his findings (normal process and part of initial cost). He claimed that he couldn’t assess the external AC unit before he washes it so he tagged an additional $265 to perform the task for a total of $308 for an AC check.Once that was done he checked the Freon levels which he could have initially done. It was low and told me that it would take 1.5 lb in one and half pound for other unit For a total of $ 1,400 for Freon and suggested that I replace these units with new ones and by the way his company was running a special and would provide a quote for $28,000. I had since called another vendor that checked these units and added the Freon for $150."
