"I am extremely happy with the quality and professionalism of Solid Lift LLC. We got several bids for My mom's porch and our stairs. One company even started saying we need this and that jacking up the bid. Another company saying minimum charge being $ 1,800. By far Solid Lift was best value. Mom's porch that was poured in 1970 with my sister and my hand prints they took great care was saved the hand prints Mom is so sentimental about It looks AMAZING!!!! The stairs at our house purchased in 1989 prior owner capped they took this off and lifted our stairs to look like NEW!!! Even our neighbors said they look great!!!! Project Location: Westminster, CO Date: 01/11/24Location of Project: Garage or basement floorLocation: HomeDamage Description: SettlingDamage Description: CrackingComment: The other night while adjusting the bottom seal on the door between the garage and my wife's craft room, i happened to notice, behind one of her cabinets, a gap between the top of the floor boards and the bottom of the wall trim. Cold air was coming in so I looked further, the more I looked, the more I found. I moved all her stuff out and pulled up the floor boards. I discovered even more very shoddy work that was done by whoever did the work to flip this house I bought. They used scrap pieces of the floorboards, and pieces of the cardboard box the boards came in to shim the floor to "level" Everything they did on this house is the worst I have ever seen, and I have seen some crap ! Anyway, the concrete slab has settled long ago, due to poor drainage, and Westminster dirt. It is also badly cracked on the north side. I'm wondering if the north side can be lifted back to more match the rest of the floor, to a point where i can add a new top surface with leveling compound, or whatever you might recommend.
