"Woke up this morning to my hvac leaking and contacted Markool. I have never used them before and was in a pinch. They fit me right in this morning and were out at my house within 2 hours. The tech stepped in the door and placed covers for his shoes so he did not track in any dirt which was impressive! The tech was very professional and super friendly. Problem was diagnosed and FIXED within an hour. The price was extremely reasonable to the point I was shocked in a good way (expecting a higher price). Anyways, I will most certainly be a returning customer. Thank you Markool Heating Cooling Plumbing."

"I was looking for a company to replace a 27 yr old HVVAC system that was acquired with the purchase of our new home. I took the time to evaluate and entertain 5 companies with their associated estimates including Deans Heating and Air Conditioning. In my research I found that Deans HVAC had received 5 star reviews from every client for whom they had serviced. After speaking with Mike the owner I was very impressed as he listened to what I was looking for and shared exemplary knowledge on what my HVAC project needed. Mike took time to answer all of my questions in addition to providing the best and most fair estimate in comparison to the other companies I had spoken with. Mike was very thorough and took care to make sure everything was installed with precision and a personal attention to detail. Even though our project had its own unique challenges, Mike and his assistant worked with efficiency and finished in a timely manner. Working with Deans Heating and Air Conditioning was an awesome and rewarding decision as we are very pleased with the installation of our new HVAC system. "Relieved - that's how I would describe working with Carroll Mechanical. Ever since another company installed my furnace 6 years ago, I don't think it was ever working right. A number of companies have come over the years but nobody was able to properly diagnose the problem until Drew from Carroll Mechanical showed up. He was wonderful from the start and had over 50 years of experience in the trade. He spent the whole morning at my house running a full diagnostic, including a detailed combustion analysis plus measurement of gas pressures, duct air pressures, air temperatures, electrical readings etc.... he explained them all to me patiently like a good doctor and told me we what we needed to do - adjust supply gas pressures and increase the size of the exhaust flue to get the right air/fuel balance. Previous companies just wanted to get in and get out, but these guys took their jobs seriously and were just lovely to deal with. Insanely smart, caring, and reasonable people."

"THIS COMPANY IS SCAMMING PEOPLE!!! -On 6/24/21, Farnen and Dermer installed a brand new YORK HVAC system in my home. Everything appeared to be fine, and there were no issues for 2 years. -On 8/28/23, I noticed an extremely loud buzzing coming from my outside unit, so I called them to come check on the problem. My unit was still cooling, but extremely loud. Glen A. showed up to diagnose the problem and seemed like a nice enough guy. After about an hour, he informed me that my entire indoor and outdoor unit need full replacement for a total of $10,900. (I paid $7,500 just 2 years earlier). I said, surely this was covered under warranty because the unit was only 2 years old? He then informed me that it was not because it was â struck by lightning and the warranty does not cover an act of god. -At this point in my head things were not adding up, especially since the unit was still cooling, both of my neighbors units were fine (townhouse) and he did not even check the inside unit. I told Glen I need to think about the replacement because that is a lot of money that I do not have at the time. Glen disconnected my outside unit completely before he left with the hottest week of the summer upcoming (95F-98F) and charged me $189 for the visit. -I am lucky enough to have a Fire Marshall as a good friend to ask him about the situation. This guy sees lightning strikes pretty frequently. He told me there is no way that my unit was struck by lightning based off of what I was seeing and also because it would have gotten to all of my neighbors units (townhouse). He informed me it is literally impossible. THE UNIT WAS STILL COOLING! -I decided to get a 2nd opinion from another company. The other company came out and told me that my compressor was bad and that there was no lightning strike to speak of. They also informed me that it was covered under the warranty and they could fix it. The technician said that he noticed the wiring on the outside unit was incorrect. There was a red wire crossed with a black wire. He said that is exactly why my 2 year old compressor went out. This company even put their findings in writing for me. They replaced my parts and got me up and running for 82% LESS THAN F and D! -I am not the only person this has happened to. It appears to be standard practice. You can see the attached pictures of reviews from other people in the same boat on the Better Business Bureau website. I will be submitting a complaint through BBB and demanding a full refund. This is pure predatory behavior and it is unacceptable!"
