"My sister and I purchased a house in October of 2019 and moved into it in January of 2020. We hired Tim Fudale of BellaMax to do some work before we moved in. He was able to do all the work we needed done, which varied from sheetrock and painting, to installing a brick wall, to building shelves to match existing shelves in the kitchen. Everything he did was uniformly excellent and we could not have been happier with his work. Along the way, he noticed things we missed, and made suggestions that were helpful and productive, for which we were super grateful! He is seriously talented; not just a contractor but also a craftsman. In addition, he is kind, interesting, and easygoing, and my persnickety little dog really liked him- a big plus! We highly reccomend him!"

"Billy and his team did a stellar job - right from helping choose the right product to the installation and cleanup of the old one. The new equipment works like a charm. Billy's entire team actually turned up on a Saturday for the installation in one of the coldest days of 2022 and worked outdoors and in the limited crawl space in freezing temperatures just so we could beat the upcoming storm the next day. Theor conduct was extremely courteous and professional throughout and they left us all feeling very happy and contented. Billy and his team have helped us on earlier occasions too in fixing the older unit and were exemplary even then. NEVER have we felt we were overcharged or received undervalue service"

"Issue with Bell Mechanical This past August of 2024 we had a heat pump system installed in the house by Bell Mechanical. Unfortunately, we have had nothing but issues since with the biggest being no heat multiple times and now again today we are without heat in the majority of our house. It is freezing outside, we have a toddler and within the past week this is the 2nd time we have no heat (4th time since the system was put in). Not only is this a life safety issue, but it also is heart breaking to have your toddler tell you they are freezing. Looking for advice on next steps. We have never sued anyone or threatened to sue but this may be the time as we have had nothing but issues since the beginning. From the start we made it very clear that everything needed to be done to code and permitted. We were doing a lot of major renovations at our house and everything was being done to code and permitted. John (the salesman) at Bell said that was not a problem. John also told us that the only additional cost we could potentially incur outside of what he quoted us for the system and its installation would be a $500 fee for the installation of the heat strip. We accepted this and moved forward. After Bell removed our central air system and installed the new carrier system we got his with additional work needed at the tune of over 2k. Needless to say we were not happy. John told us the electrician they use and that if we used that electrician there would be no delay but if we used ours that it would cause a delay. So, we went with what John said as he was the expert. John got the electrician to come down a little in price which we were grateful for. Fast forward to when the building inspector came out to close out the permits for the work Bell did and other work being done at the house, the inspector told my contractor that the heat pump was not done to code. We were told that the electrical for it was not done to code and he could not close out the permit. My husband talked to the electrician Bell gave us who informed us that Bell told him to “cut corners” which was part of getting the cost down slightly. Reminder, we NEVER said to do this, we made it clear that everything needed to be permitted and even paid the permit fees to Bell. Back and forth with Bell and the electrician got the electrician to fix his work at no additional cost but Bell still needed to fix the outside plug which was not to code. Giovanni at Bell agreed that Bell would fix this issue at no additional cost. It has been 3 months now and Bell has still not rectified this issue and Giovanni and John are both nonresponsive to our follow-ups. Bell has also had to come out 4 additional times because our system was not working and again today, we have no heat. Today will be the 5th time they have to come out for issues on a system that is 4 months old. This is not OK. We have given Bell ample time to rectify the issues. Clearly they did not do the install properly and there is also the possibility we have a faulty system. We have never sued someone or went to court but then again, we have never had such large and costly issues."

There was some wrinkles and additional work he did not expect, but he did it all for the same price he initially quoted. Doug and his team are thorough, communicative and completely professional. I would recommend Abel Air for all your HVAC needs. Doug is also one of the nicest guys we have encountered to do work on our home."

"I decided to go with Cassidy because out of the 4-5 different companies I contacted, they were the first to respond in a timely manner and their dispatch fee was affordable ($79 vs >$100). The actual service they provided went well. They were on time, finished the whole project within a couple hours and were professional. However, I did remove a star from my rating because they do overprice everything. I was able to cut down my total cost by >$300 by just buying my own supplies (ex: water faucet, basket strainer, faucet aerator, etc.). They were going to charge me $125 for something I was able to get for $4 and fix on my own, which I thought was ridiculous. Overall, I would recommend because they made the whole process go smoothly but I would just be aware of their pricing and make sure they don't trip you off."
