When we're called out to your location, we do not automatically look to replace your roof. Our goal, if possible, is to extend the useful life of your existing roof. We specialize in roof leak repairs, and roof coatings, to extend the life of the roof you have. If that is not a possibility, our crew is more than capable of replacing it if need be. I'm a fourth-generation roofer of a family-owned and operated business. We do not use salesmen, you will always be dealing with an owner, and we treat your home like it's our very own. Henry explained what was going on with the water in each location. He is in the third generation of Forrest & Son roofing contractors and a fourth is coming up. He is clear about what he is doing and upfront about how much everything will cost. He has an uncanny ability to predict how long each phase of the work will take. He inspected the whole roof and gave us a 5-year guarantee on his work. One of his hard-working crews stayed till late to finish the work in one day. Henry Forrest came back the next day to prime all the wood, even though he did not expect that to be part of the work. We are very pleased with the work and the way it was conducted."

Our project planners will advise you if a total replacement is best or if you can do some less invasive maintenance to extend the life of your roof.
"Shortly after I bought my house, my son-in-law was checking out the roof and he said that in one area, the plywood seemed weak - too much give when walking on it. We had a person from G&G come look at it and he agreed that it didn't seem right. A couple of guys were sent out to inspect it. They removed a few shingles and then put them back and said nothing was wrong with it. They added no new wood or shingles. I received an invoice for $1200. When my daughter called to ask why it was so high when they barely did anything, she was told they would lower the amount and send a new invoice. I never received a new invoice. I was worried about this coming back on me for not paying so I called the number that I found on my estimate. The person that answered the phone said that the guy who had originally looked at the roof was no longer working there. When I explained the whole situation, he said that I should let it go and not worry about it. I told him that I didn't want to have this come back on me later. He said he would go back to the office and see what is up with it and call me back. He never called me back. But I was not letting this go until I was sure it was settled. Instead of returning my call, today a guy from G&G rang my doorbell. He told me that the cost had been lowered to $900. I told him that I didn't agree with that amount, but I would pay it if they could send me an invoice. I had already called their office. All I needed to know was how much I owed. I didn't need a visit from someone repeatedly ringing my doorbell and causing my dog to bark. This should have been a returned phone call. I mentioned that I had trouble understanding the guys that were here removing the shingles because they couldn't speak English. He then called me a racist. I told him that I am not a racist and I have Hispanic people in my family. I merely was saying I couldn't understand these two guys."
