"We are in our 80’s and decided we needed to make our flower beds smaller and more manageable. At this time, we had at least 15 large beds and they were all full of weeds. Since we could no longer maintain these beds, we started searching for a landscaping company that could take care of all this for us. We went through a website called Angi and found several names to choose from. We selected Ground Breakers Landscaping & Demolition. The owner of this business is Sean Griffin. Sean responded immediately, gave us an estimate, we accepted, and he went straight to work. Not only did he and his crew do what we paid for (edging, mulching, weeding, planting grass where needed), they went above and beyond (to make everything look good), mulching around our trees, cleaning out an area of our backyard and putting in mulch and gravel, and made our fire pit area very nice. After showing us what he could do, we hired him to clean out an overgrown area along our driveway and he did an exceptional job with that as well. We are very pleased with Ground Breakers Landscaping & Demolition, especially with Sean. He is a very knowledgeable and caring individual who goes above and beyond what is expected of him. We purchased flowers from Sean, at a discount, Everything is just what we expected, and more. We will be having him, and his crew come back monthly to do the upkeep on our gardens."

"They came out and gave us a quote. They didn't have a formal contract just something Jose wrote up. We agreed to the quote but after reviewing it we felt we couldn't go through with the project. We contacted Jose the next day to advise him we would not be able to go through with the work and he said he would HOLD the 1000.00 check we have given him. The following week I went into tour bank account the stop payment on the check and found that Jose had cashed it two days after he said he would hold it. I am very glad we decided not to work with him as I am not sure I would trust him to do the work."

I asked him to provide an estimate w scope of work, but he never provided this. When i followed up w him, he said they were busy & needed a few more days to provide estimate. They never provided an estimate, given the lack of interest I decided not to follow up a 2nd time. "3 unsupervised teens were sent out. I showed them what I wanted done. Lawn and beds had a small amount of leaves (fall cleanup done prior)that required raking and use of a blower. They spent an hour and 20 minutes walking around with a blower and leaves, pine cones, and 2 plastic bags against the fence. Half the leaves were untouched, and the gate left opened. When I spoke to the manager about the incompleted work, she said I would have to pay for additional hours. The amount of work could have been completed in less time if they had done the work as instructed. I would not recommend this company. These teens should have had an adult to supervise the work."
