"Eli and his crew did a remodel to 2 bathrooms and kitchen - they got started quickly and in an amazingly fast amount of time, transformed all 3 spaces in 7 weeks. We have an awkward long skinny kitchen and they not only made it look great it also looks spacious with even more cabinet space! Same story for the bathrooms with an amazing shower stall! His people were very nice and they all are super easy to work with."

"I worked with Sean and his team on a large basement renovation as well as a few smaller projects throughout my clientâ s home. I found him to be professional, reliable, respectful and extremely competent in completing the project. We were especially appreciative of how inventive the team was while trying to combat specific issues we ran into. We had a set timeline and everyone did a great job ensuring things were organized and ran according to schedule. I highly recommend Sean and his team for any home renovation project! My client was beyond happy with the service provided."

Remodeling
"Keith from Absolutely Wood was highly recommended by many friends and others for his quality craftsmanship. My project was not only a complete kitchen, wash and living rooms renovation, but had an added challenge to enable full wheelchair access to age in place. It involved gutting and re-locating walls, adding wood flooring, removing a house entry door/stairway and constructing a new window all within the existing space confines of the home. Keith not only nailed it, but his innovation also made wheelchair accessible areas immerse themselves in the natural aesthetic flow of each room. He works with extreme preciseness and solid attention to all the details. I still get many compliments from visitors to my home about the appealing and comforting look of the project. Not only has this project made my life far more independent to manage my daily living needs both now and into the future, but it also has created a home that produces a good feeling each time I time I walk in the door."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
