"Alex and his partner were on time for our appointment. They were ready to do the work requested. I was highly impressed with the quality of work. It turned out much better than I had expected. They left the site clean when they finished up. The work was done to my high standards. I will definitely use them for all my handyman projects in the future."

"Peter built the home I currently live in 27 years ago. He framed it, roofed it, and sided it making the structure weather tight. I cant begin to tell you how easy he made the process of building a home. There isnt a carpentry project at my home that has been done by anyone other than Pete. His craftsmanship whether its framing or finish work is second to none. Working with Peter was an absolute pleasure and even though we dont talk with one another very often I still consider him to be a friend."

"On recommendation, we contacted Josh at Wasted Space Home Improvement for our outdoor kitchen remodel. Since our initial meeting, Josh and his team have not only remodeled our beautiful new outdoor kitchen, but have also replaced our tankless water heaters, updated bathroom and shower fixtures, installed new outdoor ceiling fans and exterior lighting, added indoor electrical outlets, assisted with ceiling/sheet rock repairs, and many other additional miscellaneous projects throughout our home. Josh has repeatedly demonstrated a broad range of expertise, particularly in construction, plumbing and electrical. He is honest, professional and likeable. Highly recommended!"

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
Winter Park Addition & Remodeling Contractors are rated 4.7 out of 5 based on 225 reviews of 225 pros.
