"Joe's Yard Care (Joe) did a great efficient job which was difficult since the new PVC valve piping required precision measurements to fit into the existing setup. Joe gave me confidence in his abilities and finished up in just 2-hours. I definitely recommend him for any yard care you require. He does just about anything you can think of, concrete curbing, pavers, tree pruning, stump grinding, and many other improvements you can think of. Joe is a very personable & courteous person. A lot of contractors are not, but you feel relax in dealing with Joe and that's a big plus. He's a good man and I'm glad I found him."

No job too big or small, quality is my top priority. With over 20 years of experience Kents Quality Concrete provides customers with the best concrete services.
"Kent was hired by my next door neighbors(both in their mid-80's) to replace a concrete retaining wall last summer. Prior to the job starting, Kent met with me with someone he introduced as his contracted landscaper. Since our property was downhill from the neighbors, Kent wanted to use our property to remove and replace the wall. He told me the heavy equipment he would have to use would tear up our lawn but that the landscaper would re-sod it. Eight of our stone flower boxes had to be removed to do the job-Kent also was to have his landscaper restore them as well. The demolition and removal of the old wall by crew #1 went fairly well. One of our 12 foot arborvitae did not survive; not sure if that was from crew #1 or #2. Crew #2 was responsible for building the new block wall. The wall was constructed crooked and the locking flange on many blocks was 2 to 3 inches from proper position to lock the blocks together. A good portion of the wall had to be taken down and the blocks placed in proper position. The wall was still crooked, but at least it was locked in place. The wall is supposed to be back filled with gravel-I'm not sure it ever was. But I did see a large amount of garbage (water bottles, the plastic wrap tying all the blocks on the pallets, etc) that probably does not help with drainage. In order to get the blocks back to the job site, a forklift was used. This chipped and broke the front of my driveway where it meets with the street. I wanted to talk to Kent about the damage to my property, but he had planned a 2 week vacation to the Caribbean. The crew boss called Kent on his phone and Kent then informed me that he did NOT have a landscaper but he would still take care of the lawn replacement. I found out that his planned repair of the lawn was to have one of his workers spray grass seed on the previous lawn without any preparation of the site, which was now my old, established lawn that was tore up by the heavy machinery covered with several inches of clay soil. When I told him that was not acceptable, he responded that his contract for this job was not with me but was with my neighbors. I refused to accept the hydroseeding. He did cut the driveway edge straight for me and replaced it with asphalt. Crew #1 was polite, efficient, and left the site clean. Crew #2 was also polite but other than the crew boss, seemed to be inexperienced and made multiple mistakes. Two of my large impact sprinklers were left covered with a foot of soil, an 8 foot section of pipe and a riser and sprinkler was cut off and left laying next to the wall without capping the pipe off-it was later reattached by the neighbor's son. Our house water hose was used by them without permission and the hose was left out strewn across the job site. The neighbors driveway was asphalted with a gutter placed next to the wall. There was a gap between the gutter and the asphalt driveway so water has been draining underneath the gutter rather than into it. So now the asphalt is all collapsing and will soon make the driveway unusable. Now there will need to be additional construction to repair that issue along the approximately 100 foot driveway. Sorry I'm not savvy enough with my phone to be able to attach any of my photos to this review. The neighbor's have been trying to resolve the issues with Kent but to no avail-he has taken payment ($55,000.00!) from them so he is done. And of course he is done with me as well. Never again will I allow anyone to 'use' and destroy my property to make a profit without a separate contract of my own. I would not recommend this business to anyone, ever."

Most business and homeowners don't know where to start with the lighting, let alone what a GOOD Lighting Design is. And finding out where to start can be a challenge. A lighting designer is someone who is NOT financially tied to any brand, but instead chooses "Performance over Product" while being mindful of Budget and Biology. Lighting is a fundamental law of physics that creates color, shades, perception, productivity, knowing, sleep, connectedness, warmth. Ever notice you walk in to a room and it doesn't feel right? Check the lighting. It can have enough light, but lots of glare because of the low cost, poor performance product out there. By partnering with an expert, you get someone in your corner who is looking out for your final project vision and will get you there without cutting corners, creating a beautifully lit dream home or business, while saving money on the material side.

The average cost of a 180-square-foot concrete mow strip is approximately $450 based on a price per square foot of $2.50. However, like all landscaping and edging considerations, your costs will likely vary based on your location, needs, property specifics, the pro you hire, and the season.
A typical landscape curbing job requires between 180 and 300 square feet of curbing material. Still, contacting a local landscape edging service is always best to ensure you get the correct amount. Guesswork could cost you more than necessary and lead to financial and literal headaches if you have to correct errors later on.
Once your landscaper has prepped the area, it usually takes less than an hour for them to pour a concrete curb. Including preparation, most curbing installation jobs take no more than one full day to complete. Be sure to get a duration estimate from your landscaping professional if you’re on a tight timeline.
Concrete curbing can require several weeks to cure fully. However, most of the curing occurs within the first 24 to 48 hours. You may be asked to keep pets, children, and machinery (such as lawnmowers) away from the curbing during this time.
Concrete edging can last 10 to 30 years with proper care and maintenance. However, your home’s climate and other factors may influence its longevity. For the best results, talk to your landscaping professional about long-term care and maintenance plans so you don’t have to pay avoidable concrete edging costs.
No-dig edging, such as steel edging with push-in spikes, is the easiest edging to install. It usually comes in long spans or on rolls and simply pushes into the ground. You can anticipate this type of edging installation to take significantly less time than many of the other options.
