He was extremely responsive and we found his rates were comparable to others we received. We were stalled for a while due to Covid, but once our permit was approved, Dave kicked off work for us the next week. He was very communicative, sharing updates, hiccups (fortunately not too many - usually product delays), and recommendations. I can't say enough good things about his crew. The company took incorrect measurements for the liner resulting in a liner that was too large for our pool with huge wrinkles on the walls and floor. Further, the company cut out holes for the return jets before any water was added to the pool, resulting in a stretched liner that leaked around the jets. Within 1 hour of the installation we were losing water and the company refused to come back when called."

S&R is a very professional yet personal company. We pride ourselves on timely performances with competitive pricing. We are offering a free pool opening or closing with every qualified pool renovation.
"I’ve used S and R Pools of Manville for about three years and prior services were good. However, this year they simply did not meet prior expectations. I normally do not go out of my way to write reviews, unless I receive stellar service or horrible service. In this case Kevin the owner was completely defensive and tried pass my concerns back to me, the customer. For a business based on word of mouth in a highly competitive market for pool companies, I was shocked at the level of unprofessionalism and unwillingness to listen to a customer. Ironically I was getting ready to install a pool heater this year with S and R... needless to say, I’ll find someone else. By the way, do not confuse S and R Pools of Manville with storefront S and R Pools of Martinsville (a few miles away). The owner of that S and R is a fantastic person (fair and honest) and is well known to the community. I will continue to give him my business. UPDATE(08/14/2018): I gave S&R Pools another try and this time they really came through. We needed an emergency repair for one of our return lines and Kevin had his guys fix the problem immediately. Keep up the good work!"
