"We had our bathroom completely remodeled by ACRS and we are very happy with the project. Andy and his entire crew of skilled and caring pros produced the beautiful new bathroom that my wife and I envisioned. Andy answered all of our questions and kept us informed as the project proceeded. The men were all very responsive to any questions that we had. They also took great care about cleaning up and removing any debris at the end of the day's work. I would definitely recommend this company."

"Al is very reliable. My Reno was complicated and involved some significant structural work. He was either on my job site every day or in touch with me by phone or text to keep me up to date on the work. This is not a guy who will go missing on you. Unlike others, he was great about making all required filings and getting all sign offs needed from the local Building department. He also worked very well with my architect. His carpenter, Louis, and his painter/plasterer, Johnathan were wonderful too. I would recommend him for future projects."

"Unfortunately, my kitchen was flooded by the people upstairs whose bathroom tub overflowed so I had to have a gut renovation. Spencer with his fabulous team (Modo) stepped in and he from the start was totally hands-on. He designed and helped me pick out the best materials and appliances to fit my taste and my budget. He's very quick in responding and any issues that I've had after they had completed the job, he immediately has stepped in and remedied the minor issues. I couldn't be happier with my kitchen and every day I am thrilled that I chose this team and in particular Spencer Kane to fix a terrible disaster and he and his team turned it into a miracle/dream Kitchen! I unconditionally recommend Spencer and his team."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
