"I hired ATN to do extensive work in my basement: remediating water damage, building bookshelves, reconfiguring a laundry area, and gutting and rebuilding a full bath. First of all, the quality of their work was excellent. Willie and his team do not cut corners, do not take short cuts, and approach every task from drywall to tiling to fixture installation with attention to detail. The finished product was breathtaking and everything I had dreamed up. I have hired many professionals through the years, but what set ATN apart from every other professional I’ve work with was their RELIABILITY, INTEGRITY, AND COMMUNICATION. Reliability: Willie showed up on time to the minute for the estimate, whereas the other 4 estimates we got came late or at staggered times in a several hour window. This reliability continued throughout the weeks of work, as Willie and his team showed up promptly to begin work at 8am every morning. He had the same dedicated team every day, and ATN works only on YOUR project until it’s done. He was the only contractor who we got an estimate from who offered this approach, and it made a huge difference. Integrity: Willie was a lifesaver when he discovered, a week into work, that the waterproofing system that another company had installed recently did a subpar job. I think other contractors would have looked the other way and continued their work, but Willie brought the issue to my attention, explained why he thought the work was not done properly and even advocated for us when an employee from that company came over to check it out. He did all this knowing that fixing the waterproofing issues would delay his work, but he did it because he has the utmost integrity. Ultimately, with Willie’s help, we got the waterproofing company to tear out the entire system and redo it from scratch. I can’t thank ATN enough for this. Communication: So important on a big project! Willie communicated promptly on any issue that arose through text, email and face to face. As many hiccups arose (termites, unforeseen electrical and plumbing problems), Willie was excellent at explaining each issue in an understandable way, proposing various solutions, and being transparent about any revisions to the price and timeline. Not only is Willie a great communicator, but he’s also just a super friendly guy, former military and proud dad and granddad. My husband says he wants to be Willie when he grows up :) Highly recommend ATN!"

"We hired a company to install flooring and re-finish the remaining floors to match. We chose the original company because of a few positive recommendations and they were significantly cheaper. We were told the job could be completed in 4 to 5 days, max. However, it took over two weeks and we were extremely disappointed when we saw the final product. The staining was inconsistent (some areas were not properly sanded, edges, corners and under counters) and there was so much pitting that it felt like sandpaper. Plus, there was prominent chatter throughout all the finished flooring. We spoke to several additional companies and Brendan responded immediately and came out to assess the flooring. Brendan meticulously cataloged the problems, which were more than we had even noticed, and communicated with us in a refreshingly direct and straightforward manner. Brendan also helped us determine that our previous contractor was not even a licensed professional and showed us what is required by the state to perform home improvement contracted work. He was professional and very experienced in repairing floors from botched jobs. We hired Flaherty Floors to redo our floors a second time. Brendan told us it would take 4 days to complete and fixed molding and replaced multiple boards the prior company had damaged. They showed up every day they stated they would (unlike the first company) and they were extremely professional, hung plastic and cleaned and vacuumed meticulously. Our house was cleaner after they worked than before they started. We would re-hire him and his company without hesitation and recommend him to anyone. He sent us pictures of the flooring as he was progressing and listened to all of our concerns. Brendan is extremely knowledgeable and his pricing is still lower than many competitors. We would feel comfortable with him and his crew doing any work in our home."
