"We had some heating issues after coming back from an overnight trip and found our house not warming up as usual. Despite being after 5pm on a weekend, he came right away. After an hour of diagnostics, he identified the problem and fixed it. He came again the next day with new filters and replaced our old ones with marginal additional charge. Staro is a guy who will fix the problem, and not tell you to replace everything like some others. Highly recommended."

"She arrived late, but it was the day before Thanksgiving. She did a great job -- very thorough. However, she brought her own supplies; while some might appreciate this, I do not. I am sensitive to fragrances and I would have preferred that she had used my cleaning products. My pet peeve is someone moving my stuff and not putting it back where it was. Because she spoke no English, she could not ask me where things belonged. She did a great job, but I will not be hiring her again."

"The ProCleaners staff is polite and friendly, in addition to being excellent cleaners, paying extra attention to detail. They clean both our offices in NYC (120 seats) and Miami (12 seats). Through this pandemic they have gone above and beyond, accommodating our many requests from deep cleaning inside the desks, to shampooing the carpets and restocking the kitchen. Truly worth every penny!"

"I used dandelion cleaners for the first time and as a clean freak myself, I thought the service was extremely thorough! My cleaner, Rosa, was early, came prepared with all her supplies and was simply a gem to get to know. Would definitely hire them again!"

When you hire a housekeeper or cleaning service, there are some questions you’ll need to ask to ensure you’re hiring the right person for the job. Writing down a list of services you want to be completed is a great place to start. This way, you’ll have all the information you need when you do interview a housekeeper or cleaning service, and they can provide you with accurate information and cost estimates.
Find out upfront if the housekeeper or cleaning company offers the services you need, especially if you have requests that go beyond basic services.
Do they charge a flat fee each week? Do they charge an hourly rate? Some companies charge based on your home’s square footage or the number of bedrooms you have.
Many companies may provide some smaller cleaning supplies, but they may need to use your vacuum cleaner or mop. Others bring their own or none at all. And if you’re particular about the types of chemicals used in your home, you may want to ask what products they use or if they’re willing to use what you provide.
Anytime you have a professional in your home, something could go wrong. They could get hurt, or some of your property may be damaged. Ask what would happen in these scenarios — a well-qualified professional will have the necessary insurance and bonding to cover these situations.
