"Ben from Sunshield called as soon as I listed this project. He arrived at the time I requested and within minutes I had a complete estimate. He was extremely thorough unlike an estimate from another company the day before. The workers he scheduled arrived exactly on time and completed my lengthy repair & replacement within a few hours. I highly recommend this company because they were very courteous, timely and correctly accessed my situation. They did an awesome job. Thank you Sunshield!!!"

"Mr B did a fantastic job in mounting my big screen TV onto a wall. He took his time and was meticulous and made sure that everything was perfect to my liking and was cleaning as he went along with the project. He even helped me swap out the TVs so that my daughter could have a television in her room for the holidays.. He made sure that everything was in proper working order before he left. And he is very nice.. please dont hesitate to hire Mr. B for any of your future projects."

"The Home Dadl . Handyman..I think we're in Love & hopefully found our Forever Handyman! Just this last year, I've been trying to help manage things for my elderly parents, take care of some long over due projects..so many projects & overwhelming. Professional from beginning to end, Tyler responded immediately, fit us in the next morning for a free consult. We needed a TV mounted & Ceiling Fan fixed, asap. He listened to us, asked the right questions & made no promises. So nice deal with Great customer service & common sense. He was able to complete both projects that day..even the Ceiling Fan the last guy said couldn't be fixed. Tyler is down to earth, has an eye for detail, listens, willing to work with us on everything, up front, true to his word..a GOD sent! I've spent most my life in the Construction & Cleaning business, flipping homes, our own Handyman business & more. One of the most important lessons I've learned (& passed on to my kids), " Do the job Right the first time, every time & never have to look back"! "Home Dad Handyman" is the REAL DEAL!!! Tyler, Thank You...You do your Girl's Proud! T. Nee"

Awnings
"Honesty, Sincerity, and Hard Work -- Koda Patios represents the good old American values. Jackie answered the phone and was very knowledgeable and helpful. Pat came out to do the estimate and was very honest and sincere on how to address the problem. My aluminum awning is still in good condition, and attached to the house via a wooden fascia which is rotten. Pat helped me to fix the problem by building 4 additional posts to hold it, similar to that of a free standing patio cover. He was very honest in addressing my needs. He did not try to upsell me a new patio cover which could be more profitable for him. Even though the job is small, he patiently spent time explaining how he would perform the work. Prior to calling Koda Patios, I had another contractor (Patios for Less) come in for an estimate. They tried to upsell me a new patio and planned to install this proposed new cover onto the rotten wood fascia. Unlike Koda Patios, all they care is making the sale for a new cover and get my deposit. I'm so glad that I waited for Koda Patios to come by after my experience with the previous contractor. I would highly recommend Koda Patios for your patios needs. Yes, you can still find honest, sincere, and hard working folks if you're willing to do your research."

Addition to Existing Structure - Build, Bathroom - Remodel, Windows and Doors , and 2 more
"Due to a leaky tub my home was in need of repairs and I decided to remodel while I was at it. Arsen did a great job of guiding me through the process. Arsen was also able to point me in the right direction of where to pickup cabinets and other materials as my budget dictated. He checked in regularly and always let me know what was going on. Between Arsen and Alex (foreman) the project ran smoothly with work being done on schedule. Then when the project grew from one bathroom to three in total they handled it with ease. For other projects Tridel will be my first stop."

"The worked around my schedule . I was on my way out of town the next day and they came before i left even though it was Christmas Eve. They did nice work. I was a little late and they waited once I called to let them know. You don't see companies like this anymore. I would recommend them to everyone."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
