"If your blood pressure is unnaturally low, and you are in absolutely no hurry for the work to be done, and you enjoy working with companies that ignore you for weeks on end-- by all means, call these guys! Very poor communication, and their scheduling promises are worthless. After months of delays, we had many tense phone calls (all made by us--they never called), pointedly asking when they would be here. They started trying to guilt us by saying they would have to reschedule other jobs (were these new jobs, or jobs for clients who had been waiting longer than the 4 months we did...?) and finally arrived to reroof our house. It took them a couple ( non-consecutive) days, but the roof looked a little unfinished, and they left power cables just draped around the guttering. Another call to ask if they were coming back-- dispatcher now openly snarky. Eventually, Don came back to see what we were talking about and ended up spending hours here (we could see him on the Ring) fixing what the crew had left. The roof looks fine now, but the neighbors who recommended them are horrified that their company was so difficult. Not the neighbors' fault-- it sounds like standards have definitely slipped at United Roofing Solutions."

"First, I want to say that I don’t generally provide reviews or recommendations. Marquez roofing is an exception. Martin and his crew went above and beyond to expertly replace 2 roof’s on my waterfront homes. One was a standard comp roof with steep pitch. They replaced with quality 30 yr shingle and also removed a crumbling brick chimney and added extra ventilation in the process. They finished both replacements in February between back to back winter storms in less than 4 days. The workmanship and attention to detail was outstanding. The 2nd roof was a typical PNW “flat” roof structure on a MIL cabin that had been problematic over many years. He recommended replacing the black asphalt roofing with a better quality and longer lasting white TPO roofing material. It was an excellent choice. He included adequate ventilation (which was missing) and replaced ONLY the failing OSB underlayment with quality plywood. I watched and inspected their workmanship throughout and was impressed with their craftsmanship and especially appreciative because there was a very short time span between winter storms. He and his crew worked into the final frigid evening with lights to ensure completion before the heavy snow that fell early the next morning. This flat roof had always presented challenges and it performed magnificently during that snowstorm. After the fact, due to a miscommunication on my part about how I wanted the edges of this flat roof to be raised so water didn’t fall off to the sides, Martin came up with a quality solution and returned to make my vision a reality and only for the cost of materials. He was genuinely vested in my vision as it this was his own home. It has been nearly 3 years and this once problematic flat roof has performed flawlessly. The entire process from initial inspection, quote and installation was seamless and timely. As Project Manager, Destiny Marquez did an outstanding job of communicating throughout and setting expectations. The price was extremely competitive and it’s clear Martin and his crew care deeply about the quality of their work - true craftsmanship! I highly recommend them."

"It is hard to believe that it has been almost three years since Northern Pacific Exteriors completed our full house siding project. I’d like to offer a long-term review now that we’ve had a few years to live with the results. It is hard to believe, but I think I’m even happier with the quality of the work now than I was when they wrapped up the job. The house looks as good as it did when they pulled out of the driveway for the last time. I literally have nothing that doesn’t look right about the job after three years of living with it. The work still looks new. Northern Pacific Exteriors is the contractor we all hope we find, especially for big-ticket projects that require highly skilled crews. Superb attention to detail. "With many roofing companies as possible options for our roof replacement selecting a contractor can be challenging. Patriot Roofing performed all aspects of the project flawlessly. Communication was great all the way through, I really liked the text message updates. The crews were very polite, a pleasure to have around, I mean they all really were great! As a contractor in a previous life, I seem to pick things apart, or so I'm told, I tried but there really was nothing to pick apart. Price is always a concern but, this levels out as well and we really feel that the work performed coupled with the overall experience was well worth it. "Guardian advertises a "Gentle Wash" roof cleaning/moss removal process. Nothing could be further from the truth. In reality, they use an industrial strength air compressor and hire inexperienced, poorly trained, incompetent non-English speaking employees to perform this work. The result: While under a three (3) year contract, Guardian has destroyed my GAF 50 year guaranteed roof by shredding and removing the protective granules down to the asphalt itself. The damage is so extensive and widespread, it cannot be repaired. My roof needs to be entirely replaced at a cost of ~ $35K to $40K for a like kind of material. Guardian has attempted to mitigate the damage by inserting a new thin starter row shingle to "Hide" (not replace) the damage shingles around the entire perimeter of my home. This is an unacceptable remedy. I am awaiting for Guardian's attorney to respond to my request for compensation. Complaints also filed with BBB and the C of C."
