"HIired Serge Home Improvement, i for a partial remodel of the kids bath-new shower surround and flooring. During the time, I got the bid and he started work, the laundry room flooded and I asked if he could work on that too. Serge worked with the insurance adjustor and myself to bring the bid in at the insurance companies expectations. He had the laundry room up and running in a couple of days, with lovely new trim. This was a huge relief, as I had now washer for 2 weeks and laundry was piling up. Most of the bids I got for the bathroom work were in $15-$20K or more range. Serge's costs were reasonable and we agreed on what he'd provide and what I'd provide-tile and surround. When asked why the tub should be replaced he explained he wanted to make sure the plumbing was correct. He was right about that, the previous owner had "tiled" himself and done the plumbing. It was mess but Serge fixed it. Furthermore, he used lots of water proofing which gave me peace of mind as the kids splash like crazy. In 2 weeks, the bathroom was finished, and ready to use. I had him re-caulk my tub, and replace light fixtures in the dinning room and family room. It cost a small bit more than I budgeted, but having done remodels in the past I expected that. We are thrilled with the updated bathroom and new light fixtures. I a already discussing future projects with Serge. The best thing about Serge is his doesn't do mind doing projects on your house off and on. My previous contractor stopped taking my projects, because "projects to small and piece meal". Thankfully, Serge doesn't have that attitude."

"I originally hired Vega interiors to install backsplash tile in our kitchen and level out a patio room for tiling, but when I learned they also do carpet install I added this to the list. We were preparing to put our house on the market and needed work done within a few weeks of calling. There are three things that really made an outstanding experience for us: 1. The quality of work on both the carpet install and the tile install were excellent. Better than anything I have seen in my past experience updating houses. I really wish I had found Vega back when we originally bought the house. 2. Paul recommended a few stores to find tile and carpeting where he gets wholesale pricing. Because of this we were able to find better quality materials at much better pricing than what is available at Home depot, Lowes or carpet liquidators 3. "I hired Aleks about 18 months ago to rebuild my porch exterior. The beam holding the overhang was warping and had to be replaced, but the company did not do the rebuild of the coverings or railing. He diagnosed the issue as rotting window encasing and replaced all the wood surrounding my front windows without extending the job timing as a fair cost.
