"I'm extremely happy with the work Jimmy and his crew completed and highly recommend them. The project was to install a stone wall, forming a terrace, on a sloped bank on the street side of a colonial home. I didn't want any concrete showing, so Jimmy acquired some beautiful old field stone to face what is essentially a 3 foot high retaining wall. The materials (several dump trucks full of sand and stone) arrived over a week's period of time. Jimmy's crew of 6 completed the work in 1 day, were very polite, and cleaned up beautifully. To my surprise and great joy, Jimmy also back-filled the new terrace with lovely topsoil, making me a very happy camper. The company did excellent work for a very fair price and I will certainly turn to them again for upcoming projects."

"Tonin was able to quickly provide an estimate for repairs to my cinder block and slab back porch, which included: 1. repair of cinder block wall which the previous owner said was damaged when an excavator backed into the porch 2. break-up/removal of old concrete stairs and replacement with new stairs made of cinder block and blue stone, and 3. patching holes on the surface of the concrete slab. He gave me a reasonable estimate for the work. He did not try to up-sell me, like another contractor attempted to do. "I've hired Iljazi Masonry for two different jobs now because I've been so happy with their work. First we tore down our rotting deck, and had them install a bluestone patio. They laid a thick cement foundation so that I will never have weeds grow through between the stone and took care in cutting the stone and placing it so as not to be wasteful and so the pieces went together without looking too symmetrical. I wish I had done this years ago...one of the best investments I've made. Then I hired them again to repair/rebuild two stone pillars at the bottom of my driveway. They are super solid now and I expect them to last for years. I am definitely keeping them in mind for my next project when I am ready. "After searching months for a reasonably priced concrete company with the help of Home Advisor I came across J & L Concrete Company, Inc. Everything went smoothly. I got a quote and Angel was very willing to work within my price range. The day they arrived everything went smoothly once again.
