"Jim was a pleasure to work and is very personable. I had never worked with a GC before and had reservations about doing so but Jim alleviated my concerns soon after my project started. He stays on top of things and kept me informed all along the way. I would have no reservations using him again and would highly recommend him."

"Steve was great. He had superior experience and customer service skills. He was professional always on time showed me how he would do everything. They delivered a beautiful product on the day and time they said they would. You get what you pay for. And granite countertops they last quite a long time. :)."

Remodelers
"Our experience was excellent from start to finish. The crew removed a tub and installed a beautiful walk-in shower. The tile is perfectly matched and all the little things were done to perfection. New tile flooring was installed, the bathroom was painted, water fixtures were installed in the shower and countertop and everything was cleaned each day before the crew left. I have nothing but praise for Eliya and his crew. Iâ m planning a kitchen upgrade with them now and I know the outcome will be beautiful. I am a very satisfied customer and have already given their information to a couple of my friends who are planning remodels this year. Thank you so much, Eliya!"

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
