Installing a range hood and venting externally required working in some very tight spaces in the attic, cutting through a cantankerous ceiling, putting a hole through the roof and properly weather ceiling. "Our hardwood floors were installed during the construction of our raised ranch style home in 1971. The floors were covered with wall-to-wall carpet for about 30 years. There were stains and a repair needed due to our cat. The men working for Shane were hardworking and conscientious. The living room, dining room, hall, stairs, and one bedroom were completed in two days, as expected. We will definitely have Shane's Hardwood Floors back this fall to complete the other two bedrooms."

"I had carpet installed first and decided to go with empire. I was nervous about all the mixed reviews but my experience was great. I was in a crunch to get all the carpet replaced before my furniture was set to be delivered, I had 7 days to get it done. I scheduled the initial appt on a Saturday which was easy, the rep told me what to expect when the agent came out. The actual agent was very friendly and had all the samples and padding with him. I was kind of shocked how simple it was to pick out everything. The prices were reasonable and my install was set up 4 days later. I got status/progress calls from everyone involved and my 2 installers were great. There were a few nails left around the edges by my sliding glass door but overall I love my carpet. The color and the quality. I’ll return for my tile install next."
