One of them wasted several hours of my time trying to sell me services that were out of scope before telling me that it would be four months before they would level my porch. The sales guy from the other explained that my costs might double depending on how much foam was needed, and that there was no way to know until they started injecting foam. The mission of M&H Preservations is to provide quality residential concrete service at a competitive Price.
"On April 5, 2024 we received an estimate from M&H preservations for $2500 to replace our front porch steps. We agreed to this amount and we were then told that Matt would get in touch with us when he was able to do the project. On May 2, 2024 the steps were started at that time we paid half of the $2500 due. Due to rain delays and other projects for M&Hpreservations the steps report roughly around May 7, 2024 at that time we paid the remainder of the 2500. When the steps were being poured we were at work so my sister who lives across the street gave Matt the check. When Jeff got home from work of course he noticed the steps and what a great job M&H preservations had done then he noticed the sidewalk next to the driveway had been damaged. With a cement truck poured the steps the driver drove on the sidewalk causing the sidewalk to crack into several sections and creating a small valley where the water now puddles. It was early June when I contacted Matt to tell him about the damage and what could be done to fix it? He told me that he would come by and look at the damage never heard anything from him so about a week later I try to contact him again at that time he told me that he hadn’t gone by the house. He also told me that he didn’t know who the truck driver was that he needed to talk to. I tried a third time to contact him no response. By this time I was done with him and I let Jeff talk to him. Just got in contact with Matt and told him that the cement truck damage the sidewalk and what could be done to fix the problem.Matt once again told Jeff that he would have to get in contact with the driver. Couple weeks later Jeff try to get in contact with Matt spoke to him about the situation and at one point Jeff even offered to help. Now it is September and with winter right around the corner our sidewalk is still damaged."

Concrete injection leveling mudjackings FAQs
Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.
No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
