He discovered that a connection had come loose (probably not installed properly) that was leaking carbon monoxide into the attic. This situation was very dangerous. He was able to properly reattach the connection to the furnace. He also pointed out that our dryer vent had been knocked down and was venting into the attic instead of outside. Last autumn, the AC unit that cools our bedrooms upstairs had gone out, but at the time my husband assured me he'd handle it before summer came around again. Shortly afterward our marriage dissolved, and order gave way to chaos as a lengthy 6-month divorce ensued that consumed our family. In May, when I was able to turn my attention to the house again, several problems existed that needed immediate attention; the AC being at the top of the list. For 5 weeks I contacted, scheduled and coordinated service calls with 3 other AC repair companies; nothing had panned out, the primary reason being the lack of available HVAC repair techs to handle the high volume of service calls made after the first major heat wave of the summer. One company ignored my follow-up calls completely; another sent a tech who laughed at everything, even while quoting the exorbitant amount estimated for repairs (he left with a promise to be back in a few hours, 5 days later I was calling the office to ask if they planned on sending anyone back out). I was at my wits end with the lack of professionalism among repair companies and the tempers flaring from my teenagers. Determined to make the last HVAC call that would result in my needs being met, I painstakingly sifted through reviews on Google, Yelp and BBB to find the most reliable repair company that services my residential neighborhood. It paid off; Rescue Air was the first call I made after my research. The receptionist promptly answered my call cheerfully at 8pm on Friday night, listened as I recounted my difficulty in getting assistance with needed repairs, and immediately went about working me into their schedule (despite the fact they were booked solid for weeks) with a sense of urgency. For the next 24 hours, Rescue Air continued to provide unparalleled customer service; every interaction was handled with the courtesy and professionalism I had come to believe were non-existent in this industry. At 8pm on Saturday, MY AC WAS FIXED, and AT A PRICE TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS LESS THAN THE PREVIOUS COMPANY'S QUOTE! Our repair tech, Roman Arnold, was amazing. His expertise and ingenuity became evident during a round of pointed questions aimed to diagnose the problem, and as he talked through his approach toward resolution, I was able to follow his logic and understand the significance of each factor that contributed to the breakdown of my AC unit. It takes a good tech to provide a solution that works....but it takes a truly gifted individual to do it at a fraction of the time AND cost, while teaching an inexperienced bystander the logic behind the process. "After interviewing several landscapers to do our yard we hired Jesus Rodriguez and his company to do the job. We could not have chosen better. From beginning to end Jesus used his expertise to help us achieve our vision. After deciding on a concept Jesus met us at a nursery so we could choose the specific plants for our yard. This nursery didn't have certain plants we desired. Jesus visited several nurseries to find what we wanted. My wife has always wanted a lemon tree. Jesus surprised us by delivering a lemon tree AND a fruit salad tree full of fruit. His crew went beyond our contract to repair sprinklers and valves in our front yard though our agreement was only for the back. Jesus and his amiable crew came back on several occasions to adjust the irrigation and replace some ground cover that didn't root due to unseasonable heat. Jesus wouldn't accept final payment until we were completely satisfied with the finished project. We offered to pay for the work he and his crew did beyond the contract but he wouldn't accept it. Finally, weeks after completion Jesus is still contacting is to see if everything is growing well. Jesus is able, friendly, and interested in discovering and delivering what the client wants and has the expertise to do so. He is not driven by the financial bottom line. We hired the right contractor and so can you."
